We have become a sponsor of the UKS Caissa Warsaw chess club!

We are pleased to announce that since October we have been sponsoring the UKS Caissa Warsaw chess club!

UKS Caissa Warsaw was founded in 2003 by Rusłan Antoniewski and from the very beginning has placed a strong emphasis on teaching and developing players from an early age. The club is steadily improving its position among chess clubs in Poland, as evidenced by numerous team and individual achievements, including in the Polish Championships, the Warsaw Youth Olympics and other prestigious chess competitions. Currently, under the guidance of experienced players and coaches, over 150 children from all over Warsaw train at the club.

We are very happy to be able to contribute to the popularisation of chess and support the young players of Caissa in their further successes.

It is also worth mentioning that among Caissa's players is the 12-year-old son of one of ITSF's employees, Jakub Sławniak. Thanks to our support, he recently had the unique opportunity to take part in a simultaneous game with Grandmaster Jan-Krzysztof Duda, undoubtedly the best Polish chess player at present. During the event, 20 players played 20 games simultaneously with the champion. Although the competition ended with a score of 19.5–0.5 in favour of the Grandmaster (19 wins and one draw), it was an extremely valuable experience and a great thrill for the participants.
