Bank Security Forum 2024

Last week, we had the pleasure of participating in the 13th Bank Security Forum, a conference dedicated to the most important issues in cyber security for the financial sector in Poland. The conference was organised by the publisher of the monthly financial magazine BANK and the Bank.pl portal. Together with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), we were the general partner of this event.

This year's Forum focused on the most important and current topics related to the broadly understood area of security in the banking sector. Most of the topics discussed by experts during presentations and panel discussions concerned new legal regulations and related challenges, AI as a technology used in cybersecurity, but also as a weapon by hackers, and protection against fraud and money laundering.

We also contributed to the dissemination of knowledge and good practices during the Forum thanks to Marcin Krzemieniewski from ITSF, who, together with Piotr Nogasi from HPE, gave a presentation entitled: Security as a pillar of compliance. How to use a secure, accelerated AI platform for continuous anomaly analysis, detection and anti-money laundering? The entire presentation is available on the Forum website. In addition, they wrote an article on the subject, which can be read on the Bank.pl website and in the May issue of the BANK Financial Monthly.

We would like to thank our partner Hewlett Packard Enterprise, with whom we attended this event. A big round of applause also goes to the organisers – the conference attracted nearly 600 participants and, as every year, was filled to the brim with expert knowledge.
